Workshops in 2005

The first
benchmarking workshop

First benchmarking workshop, scheduled in 2005, was held on
12th of April in Sabac. The host of this benchmarking workshop was
company NARCIS POPOVICI (production of fodder), the 2004 Quality Award Winner in
category of small and mediums sized organization.
Predrag Popovic, director of Certification and Control Body
of Institute Vinca was a workshop moderator.
Vidosava Dzagic, president of a Regional Chamber of Commerce
from Valjevo, Vladimir Trajkovic, president of the FQCE and Milos Jelic, chairman of
the FQCE Expert Council greeted the participants at the beginning.
The representatives, Avalona Morezovic (manager of quality
sector), Miroslav Pavlovic (manufacturing manager) and Milena Misic (internal
laboratory of quality control) presented performance indicators of their
organization via criteria 5 - Process Management (sub-criteria 5.2 Keeping track
on key processes and establishing improvement goals and 5.3 Encouraging
creativity and innovations in process improvement) and 3 – Human Resources
Management (sub-criterion 3.2. Development of competences).
The representatives of numerous outstanding organizations
took part in workshop.

The second
benchmarking workshop

Good practice examples in second benchmarking workshop, were
presented by company BEOGRADKSA PEKARSKA INDUSTRIJA – BPI (production of bread,
starchy foods, dough), via criteria 6 of the National Business Excellence Award:
Customer Satisfaction.
Workshop was held on 3rd of June 2005 in Belgrade.
Milos Jelic, chairman of the FQCE Expert Council was a moderator. Participants
were greeted by Vladimir Trajkovic, president of the FQCE and Bosko Vidojevic,
general manager of Beogradska Pekarska Industrija (BPI).
Bratislav Vukotic (quality manager), Dragana Temin
(marketing manager), Milena Avramovska (commercial manager) and Darko Pekec
(transport manager) explained how their organization measures and keeps track on
customer satisfaction, as well as which steps have been taken in order to meet
customer demands.
Participants, actively involved in workshop, gave their
suggestions, exchanged their experiences and impressions, contributing to an
interactive approach.
A large number of participants from various organizations
shows a huge interest for this FQCE program.
