Foundation:

    Fund for Quality Culture and Excellence is a non-profit partner organization that manages the National Quality Award - Oscar of Quality, develop the Excellence Model and create programs and activities for using the National Excellence Model.

      Fund was founded on 15^th of February 2002. The founder of the FQCE is POSLOVNA POLITIKA AD (and KVALITET magazine), Belgrade, Serbia. There are 18 organisations that have become a part of the FQCE as co-founders by the end of 2002:

         The environment in which organisations from Serbia using the FQCE Model excel.
 

Mission:

    FQCE is the leading force to sustainable excellence in Serbia.
 

Goals:

·            Managing the National Business Excellence Award - Oscar of Quality  as an incentive vehicle for quality culture advancement on a journey to business excellence.

·            Using European and world knowledges in the area of quality, particularly  through cooperation with The European Foundation for Quality Management – EFQM.

·            Cooperation with other organizations and institutions from abroad in the area of spreading quality culture and business excellence.

·            Strengthening the development strategy in the area of science, culture, economy and local administration continuously using quality advancing methods.

·            Permanent exchange of thoughts and ideas that contribute to the advancing of the Quality Movement and quality culture in our country.

 FQCE Expert Council:

    Experts for quality from Serbia and Montenegro constituted the FQCE Expert Council in May 2002. The aim of the Expert Council as an expert body is developing and advancing of the National Business Excellence Model - Oscar of Quality  and its modalities in practice. New members of the FQCE Expert Council were appointed in October 2006.

National Business Excellence Award - Oscar of Quality

Oscar of Quality – the National Award for Business Excellence was awarded to economic and other organizations and institutions, as an independent and neutral award for superior results achieved in the area of quality advancing and development in Serbia – the first and the only one of that kind in our country.

Oscar of Quality represents a strong motivation factor for organizations on their journey to business excellence and an incentive to global climate development for quality advancing in our country. In addition, it is given out with support of the economic associations and scientific institutions whose duties are monitoring and incentives to quality advancing in our country.

Participation in contest enables a firm:

• to do a self-assessment

• to get a real mark of  quality advancing by neutral assessment team

• to compare with others

• to assess its own market opportunities

• to create a climate for quality and its advancing

• media presentation through newspapers and special TV shows that contribute to further affirmation of this unique recognition as well as applicants for the Award.
